Umar bin Khattab used to go out to Awali every Saturday, and whenever he found a slave assigned work beyond his strength, he would reduce the load for him.
أن عمر بن الخطاب كان يذهب إلى العوالي كل يوم سبت. فإذا وجد عبدا في عمل لا يطيقه، وضع عنه منه.
