A man from the tribe of Aslam said, "I did not sleep at all last night."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "Why not?"He replied, "A scorpion stung me."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Had you said when evening came, 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created,' it would not have harmed you."
و حدثني مالك عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن أبيه
أن رجلا من أسلم قال ما نمت هذه الليلة فقال له رسول الله ﷺ من أي شيء فقال لدغتني عقرب فقال رسول الله ﷺ أما إنك لو قلت حين أمسيت أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق لم تضرك
