Malik reported,

Saeed bin Musayab and Sulayman bin Yasar were asked whether the blood money is made heavier during a sacred month.They replied, "No, but an addition is made to it out of regard for the sanctity."Someone then asked Saeed, "Is an addition made in cases of wounds just as it is made in cases of loss of life?"He answered, "Yes."

أن سعيد بن المسيب، وسليمان بن يسار سئلا: أتغلظ الدية في الشهر الحرام؟ فقالا: لا ولكن يزاد فيها للحرمة، فقيل لسعيد: هل يزاد في الجراح كما يزاد في النفس؟ فقال: نعم.
