The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no cutting off of the hand for fruit still hanging on the tree, nor for sheep kept out on the mountain pasture. But once the fold or the drying yard has taken them in, the hand is to be cut for whatever reaches the value of a shield."
و حدثني عن مالك
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا قطع في ثمر معلق ولا في حريسة جبل فإذا آواه المراح أو الجرين فالقطع فيما يبلغ ثمن المجن
