Uthman bin Affan reported,

When the boundaries have been marked out in a piece of land, there is no right of preemption in it, and there is no right of preemption in a well or in a male date palm.

إذا وقعت الحدود في الأرض فلا شفعة فيها ولا شفعة في بئر ولا في فحل النخل
