Umar bin Khattab spoke about a man who advanced food to another man on the condition that he repay him in a different town. Umar bin Khattab disapproved of this and said, "Then what about the transport?" meaning the cost of carrying it.

ان عمر بن الخطاب قال في رجل أسلف رجلا طعاما على أن يعطيه إياه في بلد آخر، فكره ذلك عمر بن الخطاب، وقال: فأين الحمل؟ يعني: حملانه.
