The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the price paid for a dog, the earnings of a prostitute, and the fee of a fortune-teller. By the earnings of a prostitute is meant what a woman is given for fornication, and the fee of a fortune-teller is the bribe he receives, whatever is paid to him for practicing divination.
