"Do not sell gold for gold except in equal measure, and do not give one more than the other. Do not sell silver for silver except in equal measure, and do not give one more than the other. And do not sell silver for gold when one of them is to be delivered later and the other on the spot. If a man asks you to wait until he goes into his house to fetch it, do not grant him that delay. I fear for you the taking of excess, and excess is riba."
و حدثني عن مالك عن نافع عن عبد الله بن عمر أن
لا تبيعوا الذهب بالذهب إلا مثلا بمثل ولا تشفوا بعضها على بعض ولا تبيعوا الورق بالورق إلا مثلا بمثل ولا تشفوا بعضها على بعض ولا تبيعوا الورق بالذهب أحدهما غائب والآخر ناجز وإن استنظرك إلى أن يلج بيته فلا تنظره إني أخاف عليكم الرماء والرماء هو الربا
