A man came to Abdullah bin Umar, and I was with him near the courthouse, asking him about the suckling of an adult. Abdullah bin Umar said, "A man came to Umar bin Khattab and said, 'I had a slave girl whom I used to have relations with. My wife went to her deliberately and nursed her. Then I came in to my wife and she said, "Keep away from her, for by Allah, I have nursed her."'Umar replied, 'Give her a beating, and go to your slave girl, for suckling counts only as the suckling of an infant.'"

جاء رجل إلى عبد الله بن عمر وأنا معه عند دار القضاء يسأله عن رضاعة الكبير فقال عبد الله بن عمر جاء رجل إلى عمر بن الخطاب فقال إني كانت لي وليدة وكنت أطؤها فعمدت امرأتي إليها فأرضعتها فدخلت عليها فقالت دونك فقد والله أرضعتها فقال عمر أوجعها وأت جاريتك فإنما الرضاعة رضاعة الصغير
