Malik reported,

It reached him that Salim bin Abdullah and Sulayman bin Yasar were asked about a menstruating woman, whether her husband may have relations with her once she sees that the bleeding has ended but before she has bathed. They both answered, "No, not until she bathes."

أنه بلغه: أن سالم بن عبد الله، وسليمان بن يسار سئلا عن الحائض: هل يصيبها زوجها إذا رأت الطهر قبل أن تغتسل؟ فقالا: لا، حتى تغتسل.
