Saeed bin Musayab was asked about a woman whose husband divorces her while she is living in a rented house, and who is responsible for the rent.Saeed bin Musayab said, "Her husband is responsible for it."The questioner asked, "And if her husband has nothing?"He replied, "Then she is responsible for it."The questioner asked, "And if she has nothing?"He replied, "Then it falls upon the ruler."
