It reached him that Qasim bin Muhammad, Salim bin Abdullah, Abu Bakr bin Abdul-Rahman, Sulayman bin Yasar, and Ibn Shihab all used to say, "Once a divorced woman begins bleeding in her third menstrual period, she is fully separated from her husband. There is no inheritance between them, and he has no right to take her back."
وحدثني
أنه بلغه عن القاسم بن محمد، وسالم بن عبد الله، وأبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن، وسليمان بن يسار، وابن شهاب: أنهم كانوا يقولون: إذا دخلت المطلقة في الدم من الحيضة الثالثة؛ فقد بانت من زوجها، ولا ميراث بينهما، ولا رجعة له عليها.
