Ayesha reported,

Hafsa bint Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Bakr Siddiq moved out of her husband's house as soon as she began bleeding in her third menstrual period.Ibn Shihab said that this was mentioned to Amra bint Abdul-Rahman, and she said, "Urwa is correct. Some people once argued with Ayesha about this, saying, 'Allah says in His Book, three qurus.'"Ayesha replied, "You are right, but do you know what the aqra are? The aqra are the intervals of purity."He also narrated to me from Malik, from Ibn Shihab, who said, "I heard Abu Bakr bin Abdul-Rahman say, 'I never met a single one of our jurists who did not hold this view,' meaning the view of Ayesha."

و حدثني عن مالك عن ابن شهاب عن عروة بن الزبير

عن عائشة أم المؤمنين

أنها انتقلت حفصة بنت عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر الصديق حين دخلت في الدم من الحيضة الثالثة قال ابن شهاب فذكر ذلك لعمرة بنت عبد الرحمن فقالت صدق عروة وقد جادلها في ذلك ناس فقالوا إن الله تبارك وتعالى يقول في كتابه {ثلاثة قروء} فقالت عائشة صدقتم تدرون ما الأقراء إنما الأقراء الأطهار و حدثني عن مالك عن ابن شهاب أنه قال سمعت أبا بكر بن عبد الرحمن يقول ما أدركت أحدا من فقهائنا إلا وهو يقول هذا يريد قول عائشة
