Abdul-Rahman bin Awf came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a trace of saffron on him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him about it, and he told him that he had married.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "How much did you give her?"He replied, "The weight of a date stone in gold."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Hold a wedding feast, even if only with a sheep."

أن عبد الرحمن بن عوف جاء إلى رسول الله ﷺ وبه أثر صفرة فسأله رسول الله ﷺ فأخبره أنه تزوج فقال له رسول الله ﷺ كم سقت إليها فقال زنة نواة من ذهب فقال له رسول الله ﷺ أولم ولو بشاة
