Umar bin Khattab set out early one morning to his land at Jurf and found traces of a wet dream on his garment. He said, "I have been afflicted with wet dreams ever since I took charge of the people's affairs." So he bathed and washed the traces he saw on his garment, then he prayed after the sun had risen.
و حدثني عن مالك عن إسمعيل بن أبي حكيم
أن عمر بن الخطاب غدا إلى أرضه بالجرف فوجد في ثوبه احتلاما فقال لقد ابتليت بالاحتلام منذ وليت أمر الناس فاغتسل وغسل ما رأى في ثوبه من الاحتلام ثم صلى بعد أن طلعت الشمس
