Zuyayd bin Salt reported,

I went out with Umar bin Khattab to Jurf, and he looked and saw that he had had a wet dream and had prayed without bathing. He said, "By Allah, it seems I had a wet dream without realizing it, and I prayed without bathing."So he bathed, washed what he could see on his garment, sprinkled water over what he could not see, then gave the call to prayer, or the second call, and prayed at his ease after Duha had risen high.
