Malik was asked about the animals slaughtered by the Christian Arabs, and he replied, "There is no harm in them." Then he recited this verse, "And whoever among you allies himself with them is one of them" [Maidah 5:51].He also narrated to me from Malik that he had heard that Abdullah bin Abbas used to say, "Whatever has had its jugular veins severed, eat it."
