He was asked about animals slaughtered by the Christian Arabs, and he replied, "There is nothing wrong with them," and he recited this verse, "And whoever among you allies himself with them is one of them" [Maidah 5:51].
وحدثني عن مالك، عن ثور بن زيد الديلي،
أنه سئل عن ذبائح نصارى العرب؟ فقال: لا بأس بها، وتلا هذه الآية: {ومن يتولهم منكم فإنه منهم}
