Abu Saeed Khudri returned from a journey, and his family set meat before him. He said, "See whether this is from the sacrificial meat."They said, "It is from it."Abu Saeed said, "Had the Messenger of Allah ﷺ not forbidden it?"They said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ issued a new instruction after you left."So Abu Saeed went out and asked about that, and he was told that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said, "I forbade you the meat of the sacrifices beyond three days, but now eat it, give it in charity, and store it. I forbade you to make date infusions, but now make them, though every intoxicant is forbidden. And I forbade you to visit the graves, but now visit them, and do not utter foul speech." That is, do not say anything improper.
و حدثني عن مالك
عن أبي سعيد الخدري أنه قدم من سفر فقدم إليه أهله لحما فقال انظروا أن يكون هذا من لحوم الأضحى فقالوا هو منها فقال أبو سعيد ألم يكن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عنها فقالوا إنه قد كان من رسول الله ﷺ بعدك أمر فخرج أبو سعيد فسأل عن ذلك فأخبر أن رسول الله ﷺ قال نهيتكم عن لحوم الأضحى بعد ثلاث فكلوا وتصدقوا وادخروا ونهيتكم عن الانتباذ فانتبذوا وكل مسكر حرام ونهيتكم عن زيارة القبور فزوروها ولا تقولوا هجرا يعني لا تقولوا سوءا
