Urwa bin Uzayna Laythi reported,

I set out with a grandmother of mine who was under a vow to walk to the House of Allah. When we had covered part of the way she grew unable to continue, so she sent a freed slave of hers to ask Abdullah bin Umar about it, and I went along with him. He put the question to Abdullah bin Umar, who told him, "Tell her to ride, and then to walk from the place where she became unable to continue."

عن عروة بن أذينة الليثي أنه قال

خرجت مع جدة لي عليها مشي إلى بيت الله حتى إذا كنا ببعض الطريق عجزت فأرسلت مولى لها يسأل عبد الله بن عمر فخرجت معه فسأل عبد الله بن عمر فقال له عبد الله بن عمر مرها فلتركب ثم لتمش من حيث عجزت
