The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By Him in whose hand my soul rests, I would love to fight in the way of Allah and be killed, then be brought back to life and be killed, then be brought back to life and be killed."Abu Hurairah would repeat this three times, saying, "I bear witness by Allah."
حدثني يحيى عن مالك عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال والذي نفسي بيده لوددت أني أقاتل في سبيل الله فأقتل ثم أحيا فأقتل ثم أحيا فأقتل فكان أبو هريرة يقول ثلاثا أشهد بالله
