The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you who among people holds the finest station? A man holding the reins of his horse, striving in the way of Allah. Shall I tell you who holds the finest station after him? A man who keeps to himself among his small flock of sheep, establishing the prayer, giving the zakat, and worshipping Allah, associating nothing with Him."
و حدثني عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن معمر الأنصاري
قال رسول الله ﷺ ألا أخبركم بخير الناس منزلا رجل آخذ بعنان فرسه يجاهد في سبيل الله ألا أخبركم بخير الناس منزلا بعده رجل معتزل في غنيمته يقيم الصلاة ويؤتي الزكاة ويعبد الله لا يشرك به شيئا
