Fasting for one who performs Umrah followed by Hajj but cannot obtain a sacrificial animal falls in the period between entering ihram for Hajj and the day of Arafah. If he does not fast then, he fasts during the days of Mina.Yahya related to me from Malik, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim bin Abdullah, that Abdullah bin Umar used to say the same thing on this matter as Ayesha, may Allah be pleased with her, said.
