The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was praying the Maghrib prayer, so I came and stood on his left, and he moved me to his right.
حدثنا بكر بن خلف أبو بشر حدثنا أبو بكر الحنفي حدثنا الضحاك بن عثمان حدثنا شرحبيل قال سمعت
كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي المغرب فجئت فقمت عن يساره فأقامني عن يمينه
Its isnad is daif, see hadith 592 for its defect, but Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, and part of the hadith has supporting narrations in Ibn Khuzayma, hadiths 1536 and 1674, and elsewhere, and the hadith of Muslim (3010) makes it unnecessary.
