The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When dinner is served and the prayer is called, begin with dinner."
حدثنا هشام بن عمار حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن الزهري
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا وضع العشاء وأقيمت الصلاة فابدءوا بالعشاء
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Mosques, in the chapter on the dislike of praying in the presence of food that one wishes to eat right away, etc., hadith no. 557, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, with this same chain.
