The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are seven places where prayer is not permitted, the roof of the House of Allah, the graveyard, the garbage dump, the slaughterhouse, the bathhouse, the resting place of camels, and the middle of the road."

Its isnad is daif. Bazzar transmitted it (Bahr Zakhkhar), no. 161, as did Ahmad bin Salman Najjad in his Musnad Umar, no. 71, both via Abu Salih, the scribe of Layth, from Layth, from Abdullah bin Umar Umari, from Nafi, with the same wording. Tirmidhi likewise cited it without a full chain, 347. So Umari's name was dropped from the chain of Ibn Majah. See Talkhis, 1/215, and elsewhere.Abu Salih is daif in whatever he transmits apart from what the meticulous scholars, such as Bukhari and others, relate from him. Busiri also declared the hadith daif.
