I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and he instructed me to give the call to prayer, so I did. Then Bilal wanted to give the iqamah, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The brother from Suda has already given the adhan, and whoever gives the adhan should give the iqamah."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد حدثنا الإفريقي عن زياد بن نعيم
كنت مع رسول الله ﷺ في سفر فأمرني فأذنت فأراد بلال أن يقيم فقال رسول الله ﷺ إن أخا صداء قد أذن ومن أذن فهو يقيم
Its isnad is daif. Abu Dawud reported it in the Book of Prayer, chapter on a man giving the adhan while another gives the iqama, hadith no. 514, and Tirmidhi, hadith no. 199, and he said, "We only know it from the hadith of Afriqi, and he is daif according to the scholars of hadith."
