We used to pray the Zuhr prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the height of midday heat, then he said to us, "Delay the prayer until it cools down, for the intensity of the heat is from the blast of Hell."

كنا نصلي مع رسول الله ﷺ صلاة الظهر بالهاجرة فقال لنا أبردوا بالصلاة فإن شدة الحر من فيح جهنم
[Its chain is daif] Ahmad narrated it: 4/250, from Ishaq, through this same chain. * Sharik used the term "an" without specifying direct hearing, as previously noted, no. 149, and the substance of the hadith has many corroborating witnesses. Busiri said, "This chain is sahih, its narrators are trustworthy."
