Ayesha reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah does not accept the prayer of a woman who has reached the age of menstruation except with a head covering."

[Sahih] Reported by Abu Dawud, Prayer, chapter "A woman praying without a headcover," no. 641, from the hadith of Hammad, with this same chain. Tirmidhi graded it hasan, no. 377, and Ibn Khuzayma, Ibn Hibban, Hakim, and Dhahabi graded it sahih.
