The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed while wearing a cloak, part of which was over him and part over her, while she was menstruating.
حدثنا سهل بن أبي سهل حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة حدثنا الشيباني عن عبد الله بن شداد
أن رسول الله ﷺ صلى وعليه مرط بعضه عليه وعليها بعضه وهي حائض
[Its chain is sahih] Abu Dawud recorded it in Kitab al-Taharah, Bab al-Rukhsah fi Dhalik, no. 369, from the hadith of Sufyan, through him, and its essential content is agreed upon by Bukhari and Muslim (Bukhari, no. 333, and Muslim, no. 513).
