Fatimah bint Abu Hubaysh came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who suffers from continuous bleeding and never becomes pure. Should I abandon the prayer?"He replied, "No, that is only a vein, not menstruation. Avoid the prayer during the days of your menstrual period, then perform the full bath and make ablution for every prayer, even if the blood drips onto the mat."
حدثنا علي بن محمد وأبو بكر بن أبي شيبة قالا حدثنا وكيع عن الأعمش عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن عروة بن الزبير
جاءت فاطمة بنت أبي حبيش إلى النبي ﷺ فقالت يا رسول الله إني امرأة أستحاض فلا أطهر أفأدع الصلاة قال لا إنما ذلك عرق وليست بالحيضة اجتنبي الصلاة أيام محيضك ثم اغتسلي وتوضئي لكل صلاة وإن قطر الدم على الحصير
[Its chain is daif] Reported by Abu Dawud in the Book of Purification, chapter "Regarding one who says she should wash from purity until noon," 383, from a narrator using "ana." Qattan and Ibn Main previously discussed Amash, hadith 178, and Habib, hadith 298, and Yahya declared it daif.
