A man asked him about the ritual bath after major impurity, and he replied, "Three times."The man said, "But my hair is thick."He responded, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had thicker hair than you, and finer."

أن رجلا سأله عن الغسل من الجنابة فقال ثلاثا فقال الرجل إن شعري كثير فقال رسول الله ﷺ كان أكثر شعرا منك وأطيب
Its isnad is very daif. Ahmad reported it, 3/54, 73, from the hadith of Waki and Ibn Fudayl through this route, and he did not mention it in Tuhfat Ashraf.Atiya has already been discussed, number 37, and Fudayl narrates fabricated reports from Atiya, as Ibn Hibban said in Majruhin. The hadith that follows makes this one unnecessary.
