An Arabi urinated in the mosque, and some of the people rushed at him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not interrupt him." Then he called for a bucket of water and poured it over the spot.
حدثنا أحمد بن عبدة أنبأنا حماد بن زيد حدثنا ثابت
أن أعرابيا بال في المسجد فوثب إليه بعض القوم فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا تزرموه ثم دعا بدلو من ماء فصب عليه
Reported by Bukhari, Adab, chapter on gentleness in all matters, no. 6025, and Muslim, Tahara, chapter on the obligation of washing away urine and other impurities etc., no. 284, from the hadith of Hammad bin Zayd through this same chain.
