I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution, and he passed his little finger between the toes of his feet.Abu al-Hasan bin Salama said, Khazim bin Yahya al-Hulwani narrated to us, Qutayba narrated to us, Ibn Lahia narrated to us, and he mentioned something similar.
حدثنا محمد بن المصفى الحمصي حدثنا محمد بن حمير عن ابن لهيعة حدثني يزيد بن عمرو المعافري عن أبي عبد الرحمن الحبلي
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ توضأ فخلل أصابع رجليه بخنصره قال أبو الحسن بن سلمة حدثنا خازم بن يحيي الحلواني حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا ابن لهيعة فذكر نحوه
[Sahih] Reported by Abu Dawud in the book of Purification, chapter on a man washing, hadith no. 148, from the hadith of Ibn Lahia by this route, and Tirmidhi graded it hasan, hadith no. 40. * Ibn Lahia explicitly stated that he heard it directly, and Layth bin Saad and others corroborated him.
