The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day of Resurrection, the disbeliever who lived the most luxurious life in this world will be brought forth, and it will be said, 'Dip him into the Fire once.' So he will be dipped into it. Then he will be asked, 'So-and-so, have you ever experienced any comfort?' He will reply, 'No, I have never experienced any comfort at all.'Then the believer who suffered the most hardship and affliction will be brought forth, and it will be said, 'Dip him into Paradise once.' So he will be dipped into it once. Then he will be asked, 'So-and-so, have you ever experienced any hardship or affliction?' He will reply, 'I have never experienced any hardship or affliction at all.'"
حدثنا الخليل بن عمرو حدثنا محمد بن سلمة الحراني عن محمد بن إسحق عن حميد الطويل
قال رسول الله ﷺ يؤتى يوم القيامة بأنعم أهل الدنيا من الكفار فيقال اغمسوه في النار غمسة فيغمس فيها ثم يقال له أي فلان هل أصابك نعيم قط فيقول لا ما أصابني نعيم قط ويؤتى بأشد المؤمنين ضرا وبلاء فيقال اغمسوه غمسة في الجنة فيغمس فيها غمسة فيقال له أي فلان هل أصابك ضر قط أو بلاء فيقول ما أصابني قط ضر ولا بلاء
