The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every prophet has a prayer that is answered. Each prophet hastened to make his prayer, but I have reserved my prayer as intercession for my community. It will reach those of them who die without associating anything with Allah."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ لكل نبي دعوة مستجابة فتعجل كل نبي دعوته وإني اختبأت دعوتي شفاعة لأمتي فهي نائلة من مات منهم لا يشرك بالله شيئا
Muslim narrated it, in the Book of Faith, chapter on the Prophet's setting aside his supplication of intercession for his nation, no. 199, from Ibn Abu Shayba, through this route.
