The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Remember often the destroyer of pleasures," meaning death.
حدثنا محمود بن غيلان حدثنا الفضل بن موسى عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ أكثروا ذكر هاذم اللذات يعني الموت
Its chain is hasan. Tirmidhi transmitted it, in the Book of Zuhd, Chapter on What Has Been Mentioned Concerning the Remembrance of Death, no. 2307, from Mahmud, with the same content, and he said, "Hasan gharib."
