A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "Messenger of Allah, how can I know when I have done good that I have indeed done good, and when I have done wrong that I have indeed done wrong?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "When your neighbors say you have done good, then you have done good, and when they say you have done wrong, then you have done wrong."
