The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no sin more deserving that Allah hasten its punishment in this world, along with what He stores up for its doer in the Hereafter, than oppression and severing ties of kinship."
حدثنا الحسين بن الحسن المروزي أنبأنا عبد الله بن المبارك وابن علية عن عيينة بن عبد الرحمن عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما من ذنب أجدر أن يعجل الله لصاحبه العقوبة في الدنيا مع ما يدخر له في الآخرة من البغي وقطيعة الرحم
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Manners, chapter on the prohibition of transgression, no. 4902, from the hadith of Ibn Ulaya, through the same chain. Tirmidhi said in no. 2511, hasan sahih. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 2039, 2040, as did Hakim, 2/356, 4/162–163, and Dhahabi.
