The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no envy except in two cases, a man whom Allah has given the Quran and he recites it throughout the night and throughout the day, and a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it throughout the night and throughout the day."
حدثنا يحيى بن حكيم ومحمد بن عبد الله بن يزيد قالا حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا حسد إلا في اثنتين رجل آتاه الله القرآن فهو يقوم به آناء الليل وآناء النهار ورجل آتاه الله مالا فهو ينفقه آناء الليل وآناء النهار
Bukhari transmitted it in "Tawhid," in the chapter "The statement of the Prophet ﷺ, A man to whom Allah has given the Quran and who recites it..." to the end, hadith 7529, and Muslim transmitted it in "The Prayer of Travelers," in the chapter "The virtue of one who recites the Quran and teaches it, and the virtue of one who learns wisdom from jurisprudence..." to the end, hadith 815, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, with this chain.
