Abu Hurairah reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a servant prays well in public and prays well in private, Allah 
says, 'This is truly My servant.'"

عن أبي هريرة قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن العبد إذا صلى في العلانية فأحسن وصلى في السر فأحسن قال الله عز وجل هذا عبدي حقا

[Its chain is daif] Busiri deemed it daif because of Baqiyyah's use of "an," as previously noted, no. 551, 1121. Abu Hatim said, "This hadith is munkar. It appears to be from the hadith of Ubadah bin Kathir." (Ilal 1/189, no. 541)
