The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us one day and delivered a powerful sermon that made our hearts tremble and our eyes overflow with tears.Someone said, "Messenger of Allah, this is the sermon of one bidding farewell, so give us a parting charge."He said, "I urge you to fear Allah, and to listen and obey, even if a slave from Abyssinia is placed in authority over you. Those of you who live after me will see great disagreement, so hold fast to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly-guided successors. Cling to it with your molars. And beware of newly invented matters, for every innovation is misguidance."

قام فينا رسول الله ﷺ ذات يوم فوعظنا موعظة بليغة وجلت منها القلوب وذرفت منها العيون فقيل يا رسول الله وعظتنا موعظة مودع فاعهد إلينا بعهد فقال عليكم بتقوى الله والسمع والطاعة وإن عبدا حبشيا وسترون من بعدي اختلافا شديدا فعليكم بسنتي وسنة الخلفاء الراشدين المهديين عضوا عليها بالنواجذ وإياكم والأمور المحدثات فإن كل بدعة ضلالة
