The Prophet ﷺ said to al-Ashajj al-Asari, "You possess two qualities that Allah loves, forbearance and modesty."

أن النبي ﷺ قال للأشج العصري إن فيك خصلتين يحبهما الله الحلم والحياء
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith, in the chapter on the command to believe in Allah Almighty and His Messenger and the laws of religion, etc., Hadith: 25/17, from the hadith of Qurrah, through this route. Tirmidhi also narrated it, Hadith: 2011, and said it is hasan sahih ghareeb.
