The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "In the heart of the son of Adam, there is a branch reaching into every valley. Whoever lets his heart follow all those branches, Allah will not care in which valley He destroys him. But whoever places his trust in Allah, He will suffice him from all such scattering."
حدثنا إسحق بن منصور أنبأنا أبو شعيب صالح بن زريق العطار حدثنا سعيد بن عبد الرحمن الجمحي عن موسى بن علي بن رباح عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن من قلب ابن آدم بكل واد شعبة فمن اتبع قلبه الشعب كلها لم يبال الله بأي واد أهلكه ومن توكل على الله كفاه التشعب

[Its chain is daif] Mizzi narrated it in Tahzib Kamal (p. 596/2) via the route of Ibn Majah, with the same chain, and Busiri declared it daif because of Salih bin Razeeq, who is unknown as stated in Taqrib, and Dhahabi said, "His hadith is objectionable."
