The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a domed structure at the door of one of the Ansar and asked, "What is this?"They replied, "A dome built by so-and-so."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every wealth that takes such a form will be a burden upon its owner on the Day of Resurrection."Word of this reached the Ansari, and he tore it down. The Prophet ﷺ later passed by and did not see it, so he asked about it. He was told that the man had taken it down upon hearing what the Prophet had said about it.The Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allah have mercy on him, may Allah have mercy on him."
