The poor among the Emigrants complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the favor Allah had granted their wealthy counterparts over them. He said, "Company of the poor, shall I not give you glad tidings? The poor among the believers will enter Paradise half a day before the wealthy, and that half day equals five hundred years."Then Musa recited this verse, "And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count" [Hajj 22:47].
حدثنا إسحق بن منصور أنبأنا أبو غسان بهلول حدثنا موسى بن عبيدة عن عبد الله بن دينار
اشتكى فقراء المهاجرين إلى رسول الله ﷺ ما فضل الله به عليهم أغنياءهم فقال يا معشر الفقراء ألا أبشركم أن فقراء المؤمنين يدخلون الجنة قبل أغنيائهم بنصف يوم خمس مائة عام ثم تلا موسى هذه الآية {وإن يوما عند ربك كألف سنة مما تعدون}
