I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the expedition of Tabuk perform ablution by washing each part once.
حدثنا أبو كريب حدثنا رشدين بن سعد أنبأنا الضحاك بن شرحبيل عن زيد بن أسلم عن أبيه
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ في غزوة تبوك توضأ واحدة واحدة
Its isnad is daif. Ahmad narrated it (23/1) from the hadith of Rushdin through this route, and Tirmidhi mentioned it without a connected chain. Busiri said, this is a daif isnad due to the weakness of Rushdin bin Saad. Ibn Lahia corroborated him in Ahmad's version, but its chain is also daif, because it is not known whether Ibn Lahia narrated it before his memory became confused.
