The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Beast will emerge carrying the ring of Sulayman bin Dawud and the staff of Musa bin Imran, peace be upon them both. With the staff it will brighten the face of the believer, and with the ring it will brand the nose of the disbeliever, so that when the people of an encampment gather together, this one will say, 'Believer!' and this one will say, 'Disbeliever!'"Abu Hasan Qattan said, Ibrahim bin Nasr narrated it to us, saying, Musa bin Ismail narrated to us, saying, Hammad bin Salama narrated to us, and he mentioned something similar. On one occasion he worded it, "So this one says, 'Believer!' and this one, 'Disbeliever!'"
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا يونس بن محمد حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن علي بن زيد عن أوس بن خالد
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال تخرج الدابة ومعها خاتم سليمان بن داود وعصا موسى بن عمران عليهما السلام فتجلو وجه المؤمن بالعصا وتخطم أنف الكافر بالخاتم حتى أن أهل الحواء ليجتمعون فيقول هذا يا مؤمن ويقول هذا يا كافر قال أبو الحسن القطان حدثناه إبراهيم بن نصر حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا حماد بن سلمة فذكر نحوه وقال فيه مرة فيقول هذا يا مؤمن وهذا يا كافر
[Its chain is daif] Tirmidhi narrated it in the tafsir of the Quran, chapter "wa min," Surah Naml, hadith no. 3187, from the hadith of Hammad through this same route, and he said, "hasan gharib."Ali bin Zayd, his status was mentioned earlier at hadith no. 116, and his teacher here is unknown, as noted in Taqrib. He has three munkar hadiths from Abu Hurairah, as stated by Ibn Qattan.
