The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "When you perform ablution, expel water from your nose, and when you clean yourself with stones, use an odd number."
حدثنا أحمد بن عبدة حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن منصور ح و حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن منصور عن هلال بن يساف
قال لي رسول الله ﷺ إذا توضأت فانثر وإذا استجمرت فأوتر
[Its chain is sahih] Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Purification, chapter on what has been said regarding rinsing the mouth and sniffing water into the nose, hadith no. 27, from the hadith of Mansur, through the same route, and he said, hasan sahih.
