The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Before the Hour there will come days in which knowledge will be lifted away, ignorance will descend, and harj will become widespread. Harj is killing."
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن نمير حدثنا أبي ووكيع عن الأعمش عن شقيق
قال رسول الله ﷺ يكون بين يدي الساعة أيام يرفع فيها العلم وينزل فيها الجهل ويكثر فيها الهرج والهرج القتل
Bukhari narrated it in "Fitan," chapter on the appearance of tribulations, no. 7063 and 7062, from the hadith of Amash through him, and Muslim narrated it in "Knowledge," chapter on the raising up and disappearance of knowledge and the appearance of ignorance and tribulations in the end times, no. 2672, from Ibn Numayr through him.
